Alexandra Marvar is a freelance writer from Mansfield, Ohio, currently splitting her time between Savannah, Georgia and Westerly, Rhode Island, with regular expeditions to the New York Catskills and her previous home of 14 years, Brooklyn. Her travel writing, photography, and attempts at filmmaking have taken her to 34 countries and counting. Her favorite falcon hospital is on the outskirts of Abu Dhabi and her favorite film festival is in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory.
