These only needed 40 min in oven, the suggested time of 55 to 60 min would have burned them. Maybe the test cooks used very thick cut bacon? Still, that’s a long time for puff pastry to be in the oven in such small strips. These would also be good for breakfast, with omelettes!

Before baking. I used pancetta because I had no breakfast style bacon. I think these would be great appetizers if cut in half, they are delicious and need wine!
