Birk family. I took a photo of this very attractive family at the GC because my feet were wincing at the thought of wearing Birkenstocks. Not kidding. They are among the most painful shoes I've ever put on my feet. I hate them so much I took this photo. LOL

At the Grand Canyon - new for 2018 vs "tired" ones from 2017. I wore the silver ones all over Italy, switching out with a silver Superskate if I needed more than sandals. I chose silver for that trip because the silver Superskates were on sale. They are my "yard" shoes now.

I LOVE this thing! After doing a trial run at their house, I brought it home to charge it and ordered one for myself. It will be perfect for washing pups. It is charged via USB which I think is very strange and completely out of the wheelhouse for the elderly. The good news, the charge should last for an hour of use. I need to buy them a wall charger but right now, I'm keeping the charging cord and will recharge as needed. Fabulous gadget!

The set up. She had everything on the bench when I got there. I brought the bucket and the shower with me (didn't want her to try it the first time solo and get frustrated). She wanted the bench close to the faucet. I do want to add grab bars for her safety, but she felt very secure because she was seated most of the time.

The magic. A nice, easy stream of water. She said it was strong enough to rinse out the shampoo. Can drop the shower head back in the bucket while lathering, recirculating clean water. She just LOVED this shower head, which confirmed that the harder flow of the normal shower head had been a problem for her. (Yes, I could have ordered a hand held shower attachment but tried this version first).

Collapsible bucket to hold the clean water. Didn't need the version with a lid. Any bucket would work, I guess. This was flexible and light weight so I gave it a try.

The bench. She loved the look of it - "It's just so neat!". I like that the seat didn't have seams/ cracks in it. Easy to put together. Legs can be easily adjusted to for height differences (inside/ outside of tub). Nice big back support and handle to help with the slide. Very stable. Very nice.
