This 'naqa' or mama camel, with her prominent 'arnum' nose bridge and typical 'hijaj' forehead was lovingly cared for by locals. She is 'hamra' or light brown, the most common color. The 'wadha/baldha' white kinds were something to see, as were their opposites, the black 'malha' variety. Every part of a camel is utilized, from their snout ('burtam') to the tip of their tail or 'shabib'. *I will now describe every eyelash and (NO! NO! NO! We're good Zebec.
