This place is called Troll Haven Bandy Farms. All kinds of statues on the property. I think you can rent it for parties, but it is out in the middle of nowhere!

Here is a picture of a park ranger at Panorama Vista Park. You used to be able to get to the beach from here but due to erosion it is closed.

Stopped to admire the totem poles at a sacred Native American spot. OK, it was 7 Cedars casino, but the totem poles are actually carved.

Anderson Lake SP is between Hwy 20 and Hwy 19. Good luck finding it. My one complaint about Washington is the lake of signage for the Parks. We drove right by it. The Camp Host said, yeah, there is not a sign on the road, we now know that we turn right after the 40MPH sign!

Beautiful Lake, but you can't swim in it because of toxins from years of animal pollution from farms and higher temperatures. There have been cases of dogs dying after a swim in the lake.

This looks like a great sunset, but it's actually sunrise about 7AM this morning. It's the first sunny morning we've had at Discovery Bay.

The Dungeness Refuge is about 35 minutes from our place in Discovery Bay. Once you exit Hwy 101, you drive through farmland and then you are at the very well marked turnoff, unlike Anderson Lake!

After past the kiosk you will enter the trail to the Spit. There is a very nice paved trail as shown, there is also a Primitive Trail, marked by a little sign. I would recommend taking the Primitive Trail.

The entry kiosk. There was a woman there who cast aspersions on our ability to spot bald eagles, not on the fact that we haven't seen any around! Why, they are everywhere! Nope, not yet.

The Spit, it's an easy walk down to the Spit from the Observation Deck, with a 5.5 mile hike to the Lighthouse on the end of the Spit. We didn't do the hike because if the tide comes up you can't get back. No, not taking the hike had nothing to do with the 20 oz. Porterhouse I had last night at the 7 Cedars Casino!

This is Gunther who unfortunately washed up on the shore, somewhere in the region and he was allowed to decay and then his bones were re-assembled in the open gallery at the end of the wharf.
