Sunset Cliffs, San Diego. View from our hotel. We had a great day in this neighborhood, beach’s but not commercial at all. Excellent eggs Benedict with greens for breakfast a block from us. Spent the day near the hotel, watching the ocean, the seals, swimming and enjoy ing the neighborhood. We went to Point Loma Seafoods which had a huge selection of fresh and hose smoked fish, beautiful, and by far the largest selection I’ve ever seen except In marseille. The prepared food was u

This was the best shrimp I have ever eaten in my life, perfectly grilled and served with a salsa verde, grilled lemon, wonderful coleslaw. Also in the upper right is rockfish ceviche. My wife had a perfectly cooked grilled swordfish sandwich. Great meal at Mitch’s. Also, though it’s a shack type of place there are real dishes and silverware, which really enhances food. If parking were not such a PIA I’d eat there repeatedly. Great beer menu too but it was a bit early for us.
