1948 Studebaker needed new bumpers. DH made wood bumpers from oak salvaged from his grandfather's farm rig. The side step might be newer lumber from friend's saw mill. He likes using oak.

The tag die is an original Sizzix that can cut fabric. It requires setting up die cutting machine differently. I wanted class to understand how to use old style dies. Most don't own a die cutting machine. They had choice of house scenes and most chose the one with a church.

The little treat box is made from a die so very easy. Class got to emboss beard paper, cut a mustache from a heart, color face. It's just big enough to hold a box of tiic tacs ore a few small candies.
