Never seen anything like that before until the very next morning when we waited 3 hours in line at another legendary Texas BBQ joint, Snows, where the 80-year-old female pitmaster is as nearly well regarded as Franklin. She works as a custodian at a nearby high school, so the restaurant is only open Saturday mornings until they run out, which they always do.
