The museum, which was totally objective (hard to do!) holds many artifacts, like this bicycle, donated by families for the museum’s mission of reminding the world that we can do better. Lots tragic stories from the families impacted and lots of heartbreaking art work from children, too.

Our hotel was just 10 minutes from the most famous jewelry street probably in Asia. There had to have been 200 of these shops one right after another! Supposedly best prices anywhere. Fortunately, Joyce wasn’t tempted by the gold or diamonds, which were there in phenomenal quantities.

My last dinner in Korea was appropriately barbecue pork ribs, Korean style! Delicious! And we only ate here because the sushi restaurant I had picked specifically for Joyce was fully booked. (only three tables). So I lucked out!

Time to go home. Joyce was more than ready… We upgraded to business class for an extra $1000 apiece to handle the 12 hour flight to Dallas. This was the first time we had ever flown business class and I was actually able to sleep for four or five hours! Hooray! And we got to use the One World lounge in Seoul for a couple of hours before the flight, another first. I haven’t known what I’ve been missing!
