I was going to zip up Mount Cook also, but after walking a few miles along the Kea Point Track and looking back at my hotel , I thought well I am going back. I can always climb Mount Cook tomorrow !!! ;) Hmm Sir Percy sounds okay to me .

The man that wrote "In Flanders Field", a Canadian of course ! He was a Soldier and a Surgeon during the Second Battle of Ypres. The Flanders Field Cemetery is just north of Ypres. He is not buried there.

In the town of Ypres, lepers in Dutch, the British could never pronounce the name so they called it "Yippers"! The Last Post is played every evening at 8 PM since 1928. It is always crowded and the street is blocked off for about a half hour.
