Woodstock has a fabulous opera house, this is the entrance. I have not been to an opera there ( not sure they have them anymore) but I have gone to “ A Tuba Christmas” concert there. Yep, about 20 tuba players it was fun.

The Buddhist Temple is in Woodstock, Illinois which is a gorgeous Midwest city. They filmed Groundhog Day (Bill Murray movie) there. They have a cool row of murals about Groundhog Day, and other famous citizens with Woodstock origins—Orson Welles and Chester Gould who created Dick Tracey ( cartoon).

Christmas gift for my daughter’s cat. Haha. It’s a Tabby cat cookie—-which is actually birdseed so the cat gets to watch the birds eat it. It’s made by a company called Mr Bird in Texas.

My daughter gave me the nutcracker succulents, the brown vase was a wedding gift so it’s old, the glass ornament next to the brown vase came from Dingle, Ireland, the braided table runner was from the Chelsea Flower Show in London this past May, and the snow people on the mantle were hand painted by my friend’s daughter. I have stories about all my Christmas stuff, I love it. My big Christmas tree is in the living room.
