Okay, if y'all are going outside of US borders -
St. Lucia, splitting time between the Jalousie and Ladera. |

We have returned and returned to Maui and Kauai, Santa Fe in New Mexico and of course Yosemite.
Portland Or, New York, Bangkok, New Delhi. And I go back to Hawaii at least 4 or five times a year. Really.
Cuba, France, and any campground on Lake Superior and Lake Huron.
Canadian Rockies, especially around Banff and Lake Louise.
New York City
Yellowstone Santa Fe |
My two go-to places are Iceland (I've been there three times, am hoping to be able to afford it again soon) for its wonderful air and landscapes and cozy Reykjavik; and the Amazon rainforests of Peru (twice, so far, but want to return.)
In the US I've been to the Outer Banks in NC numerous times and still enjoy it, but that's due more to it being a time of family gathering. And I've lived in Philadelphia for 43 years and still explore it and love it! |
Hawaii and Costa Rica again and again.
Seattle and Oregon coast--esapecially now with gas $4,22 ..(these are close to home)
South Kona on the Big Island, Santa Fe and Tucson
Hawaii and London, London, London
Well - I can;t say NYC - since I live here.
In the US it would have to be DC. In europe I would go back to every other major city regularly EXCEPT Madrid (too soulless, hot and modern - doesn;t seem like Spain to me). Have been to London at least 12 times - and can never get enough if I were forced to choose one. |
Cabo, Chicago, NYCity and the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island.
South Island New Zealand - been 8 times and can't wait to go back...
Panama
Bermuda Lake O'Hara, BC Idaho...especially Stanley area London Boston Charleston Montana and of course North Carolina! Where would I never return? Detroit and Haiti. |
North Carolina
Utah Florida |
Destin, FL., Oregon coast, NYC and Cape Cod!
Zion National Park
Bryce National Park Sierra Nevadas San Francisco Bodie, California (ghost town) and a number of places in Europe |
San Francisco, so much to see and do. The culture is so differnet in the each neighborhood. Riding a trolley was great and the breath taking views of the bridge and harbor.
