My God..let's pray for those poor people.

I'm stuck at work with a radio but no TV, and the news websites either don't have anything yet or I can't get on due to traffic. This is making me sick and I'm sure I don't even know anyone involved.

msnbc.com seems to have the best <BR>coverage - but it's really difficult <BR>even looking at a photograph - it's <BR>so horrible

& what I hear now is that the 2 planes were hijacked passenger planes.

Six people are the number of people who were killed in the bombing of the world trade center in 1993. Sadly, I suspect the fatality list is much higher this time, however I don't think anyone has publically speculated on a number.

CNN now reporting a plane has crashed into the Pentagon in DC.

Last report I heard was that a military helicopter has crashed into the Pentagon as well. The white house has been evacuated. Bin Ladin?

I need contact numbers I have a close friend in that building I don't know where to start calling

You could search the web for the numbers, but I doubt you could get thru. Best to contact their friends or family.

DC federal buildings evacuated so I hope Leone is on his way home (I assume he is a fed. employee because of his NHTS knowledge) <BR> <BR>All planes in U.S. airspace grounded. <BR> <BR>Ginny, my thoughts are with you and your friends.

In addition to all US air flights being grounded, Virgin Atlantic has suspened all flights to the US and all tunnels and trains to NYC from NJ and outer boroughs are closed.

Thanks Barb she is six weeks for a pregancy due date. All of the phones seem to be down out of NYC. I was able to speak with her crying mother earlier in the morning. But now I can't even reach a building away. I live here in the city but I am afraid to leave work. We are hearing that a third passenger plane in circeling around the city. I did take moeny out of the ATM and buy some fruit. I feel a bit like a sitting duck but better than a sitting duck alone at home.

Ok everybody my friend did not make it to work before the plane crash. Thanks for your prayers.

Sick...the view off the top of the twin towers was one of my favourite parts of my recent first trip to NY City. <BR>How very sad!

The 2 trade towers have collapsed. Please pray for everyone. A large plane also crashed in western Pennsyvania, plane into pentagon. I am near NYC, have phone, have most TV stations,am able to phone my husband in mid town. All cell phone lines I get a busy signal, same with beeper. All international fligts are diverted to Canada. There is a NATION WIDE appeal for blood donors! Thats how you can help/
