Lots of good ones listed. Mayfield's is excellent for mass produced. Ben & Jerry's is right up there at the top but my favorite is The Flamingo Crossing on Duval St. in Key West. Everything is made on premises and it is wonderful. Tropical nights and ice cream do make a wonderful end to any day!

I love ice cream but would strongly advise against using IceCreamSource.com. They delivered alright--a soupy mess! A complete waste of money.

I too remember the wonderful sundaes at Baileys Boston.Dark drippy fudge,marshmallow(no whipped cream for me) and salted pecans on top. OOOOOOH! Brighams also good but not quite up to Baileys. Also re4member getting Hojo ice cream cone on the walk home from Tenean Beach.10 cents. Now that is really dating myself. Also, Ogar's drug store made their own coffee ice cream. Great. <BR>Now shop at Roche Bro. supermarkets and they sell Moosetracks under their store brand name. To die for.<BR>For home made now go to Peaceful Meadows in Whitman MA. You obviously haven't tasted Joes ice cream in Swansea South Wales. It is absolutely delicious. And this comes from one who dosn't really like Ice creams. And it's oh so lovely when it's been zapped in the microwave for a couple of seconds.
