Taking a page from tomsd....one more thing...the First Sat Art Walk in Kapaa was also VERY cool.

Just booked flights to HNL for 17 nights, next March, on points, Air Canada Rouge. NON-STOP from Toronto, something that I have not been able to do since 1980, on Wardair.

Gmac...sorry, I haven't checked the thread in awhile. We are there at the same time...I'm there July 26-Aug 2. Northshore, of course, no where else I would stay! We always stay at the Sealodge but this trip we will be at the Ali'i Kai. Where are you staying?

I can now say that I have...29 days!!!!!!!!! I really just can't believe it. I will be on that Kauai red dirt in 29 days!!! Looking back on the thread, Dec 23 I had 214 days then April 17 I had 99 days and now I am under 30!!!!

I just want to shout it from the rooftops...29 days!!!!!!

226 days for my birthday trip to Kauai...seems like eons away! I'm looking forward to reading about everyone else's trip!

I am hovering trying to decide where. All over the map but, an all-out-in-your-face-foray-into-the-wilds-of-Waikiki food trip is looming large.

In Maui now. Warm but the trade winds are blowing. Snorkeled twice with turtles today. Life is good!

tifa: I know the 226 days can feel so far away. I remember when that was my countdown. Now, I have 2 weeks! It went by faster than I imagined it could. You have Bali to look forward to! What are your dates for Bali?

louistraveler5: I will be traveling to Bali on Nov 8 for 10 days, however since our traveling time is about 3 days worth of flight time + layovers, we're in Bali for a total of 7 nights. :)

Wow 2 weeks until Kauai! so jealous! I definitely feel the Hawaii withdrawal. 222 days for me!

18 weeks from today we're back to paradise in south Kona for the 24th time. Though summer in Colorado is quite pleasant this year--more rain than usual and everything is still really green--images of swaying palm trees and the sparkling blue ocean crashing on the shore float through my mind unbidden at times. Sigh, too long til we're there again.
