Thanks so much 1JAR, I was able to get the Muse in Manhattan for two nights in January for $239 vs. $349. I had it in my plans but hadn't booked it.

1JAR, THANK YOU so much for posting this! I already had reservations at the Hotel Palomar in Wash. DC, but this brought our room rate down to $111 a night, with 50% off any wine during our stay! Since there is a great wine bar/restaurant (Urbana) attached, you can bet we'll be taking advantage of that offer. I just called the hotel reservations line directly, mentioned the offer, and they took care of it for me. This is our first stay at a Kimpton Hotel and I must say, so far I have been extremely impressed with their professionalism and customer service.

As a side note, I did try to get back on this site to report my success as an encouragement to others, but I have not been able to log onto Fodors for a few days. Too late, I'm afraid.
