JH Dog friendly hotels

Hi,
I am looking for ideas on a nice place to stay in or around the JH area with my dog.

Also, any ideas on dog friendly hikes would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

And the "JH Area" would be....
the Japanese Holocaust area?
the Jacksonville Heliport area?
the Jewish Hillel area?
...or maybe even Johns Hopkins/
Throw us a bone here, OK?

Cleo Aug 13th, 2001 08:17 PM

I'm with scrabble......I'm looking in my crystal ball, can't seen to locate JH.....oh, JH, where are you???

kim Aug 14th, 2001 09:13 AM

Hey Merideth,

I am also wondering where you are refering to. Drop back in on us sometime and let us know!

merideth Aug 14th, 2001 09:42 AM

JACKSON HOLE, you bozos!
Know any other cities in this country with the initials "JH"?
Duhh!
Get with the program Einsteins.
C'mon, how about some suggestions, OK?
A whole day and not a single useful grunt out of anyone at this supposedly 'knowledgable' forum.
missmanners Aug 14th, 2001 10:06 AM

Merideth, you're not going to get anywhere being nasty. I have some useful information but choose not to share in with a brat.

hhh Aug 14th, 2001 11:41 AM

I highly recommend the BWL.

goyhomey Aug 14th, 2001 11:54 AM

Merideth, I would suggest anywhere near a sewage treatment plant. That way you wouldn't stink the place up so much.

emily Aug 14th, 2001 11:54 AM

Perhaps the bitch would enjoy FU or KMA?
Or even, UY?
Since you are such an Einstein yourself, I'm sure you'll understand.

I hope that anyone who dares give Meredith (the major witch) advice has serious after-lunch heartburn today!

Meredith, why in the world would YOU think that a Jackson Hole-in-the-wall town in Wyoming would jog people's memories? Huh???

John Aug 14th, 2001 12:09 PM

I've BEEN to Jackson Hole and it didn't cross my mind when I wondered what "JH" stood for. Sorry, Meredith, you should give up on this one and ask again later once everyone forgives you for rudeness.

merideth Aug 14th, 2001 04:51 PM

Oooh. Pardon moi for not starching my white kid gloves before I dropped in on this forum which is apparently frequented by people who all think alike. (Not always deeply or quickly, just alike).
I ask a simple question and get a couple smart*ss comments without any help, then a whole bunch of bellowing and moaning about rudeness from 'miss manners' and the toad posse.
If anyone has any actual, useful info, I'd like to hear it.
Merci beaucoup with genuflection.
The rest of the peanut gallery can move on down the road to the inane arguments about kids in fancy restaurants and cartoon weddings.
missmanners Aug 14th, 2001 04:55 PM

Sorry, Merideth, I'm not going to share. You still have a rotten attitude. Pity the poor dog.

xxx Aug 14th, 2001 06:23 PM

Let's get this straight. Meredith posts the vague header/question. People ask "what are you talking about?" She tells us we're stupid. methinks Meredith is a total bitch and is the one with the problem! I, too, know of places in Jackson Hole for you and your poor dog but I'll keep it to myself.

Lettherebe Aug 14th, 2001 06:31 PM

Perhaps dear Merideth was not aware that the Wyoming category would not appear in her message or that this was not a Wyoming only forum, even though she may have posted as "Wyoming".
I can think of no other explanation for the confusion she is suffering.

R-U-4-Real? Aug 14th, 2001 06:33 PM

Merideth, I can't quite believe a reasonable adult would post the rude messages you have.

I would prefer to think you are a troll -- you know, one of those people who post outrageous questions/comments just to get people upset.
Some of the childish people who hang out at the Lonely Planet website even have 'troll contests' to see which one gets the most outraged responses.
Is that what you are all about?

I would also prefer that you do not receive any helpful replies; perhaps not any more replies at all.
That would mean you lose the "troll contest," correct?

merideth Aug 14th, 2001 06:42 PM

Anyone have any information which remotely relates to my original question?
Remember, areas which are dog friendly in or around the JACKSON HOLE area?
Otherwise, I'll prefer to let the fatuous responses ride in the hopes that someone out there has a clue.
JH Aug 14th, 2001 07:13 PM

Dear marilyn,

We welcome your dog here in JH. However, we would prefer it if you stay home.

Another JH Aug 14th, 2001 07:47 PM

M:
We love dogs here in Jefferson Heights but I'm afraid you wouldn't fit in.

U-Still-Don't-Get-It Aug 14th, 2001 07:57 PM

Merideth, Meredith, you still don't get it.
Rudeness only begets rudeness -- or at best....dismay.
