Gosh, lets give Scarlett some privacy on this special day, even though she no doubt relishes all this attention on the 200th. Now though we cannot believe she's this old. Happy Anniversary, and many more as time passes.

Happy anniversary, Scarlett! Raising a glass of Lillet Rouge in your honor, and hoping you and the Yankee have many more wonderful years together.

Mr. Pickle and I met in college while on a choir tour; he was new to the group and decided to introduce himself to all the young ladies. I don't remember meeting him then, though he swears we talked. :-D However, I do remember spending time talking with him at a softball game a couple of weeks later.

The next year, we fell in love, got married in 1982, and the rest is history! ((L))

I love to travel with him, with or without the kids.

Happy Anniversary!

My husband and I went to kindergarten together! But neither of us remembers the other being there. We didn't start dating until college. Celebrated our 30th this past May. As others have said, nowhere near 200! I'm impressed, Scarlett!

I hope it was a fabulous anniversary, Mz. Scarlett! :)

I traveled down the hall at my office to the copy machine to meet my wonderful DH. We then traveled to a tiny island in the West Indies to settle down after less than 12 hours of marriage. And, of course, we've been happily traveling elsewhere ever since.

200 years -- truly amazing. Our 11.5 pales in comparison, but after all this time I still light up like a Christmas tree when I see him! The day we met, my now-husband saw me in a parking lot and thought he'd like to meet me. I don't know if it was the leopard shirt or how good my hair looked that day. As they say, the rest is history.

I raise my glass to you and the Yankee! I'll be raising the glass myself on Wednesday as my DH and I celebrate our 20th. We met when I "traveled" home for a weekend from law school and went to happy hour with my cousin, who was interning at the firm where my now husband was an entry level worker. The rest is history. We didn't have the advantage of Scarlett's advice, but it must have been karma because we had our family right away (Rookie son was born 10 months after we wed, but who was counting!).

We will celebrate by travelling somehwere local (since it's in the middle of the week) for a lovely dinner with each other and our sons.

The big anniversary gift (last years was tires for our son's car)--a second standard poodle. Scarlett, you were very helpful when we lost our beloved poodle, Boomer last Spring. We ended up travelling to Guelph, Ontario for another black standard, Snuffles. We got word that the breeder had another litter with some unusual poodles, so out went fancy gifts and in came a cream colored poodle with a brown nose and eyes and a pink puppy belly, now knows as Peanut. So after 20 years, it's a house in the burbs, 2 kids, no picket fence, and 2 puppies! Cheers!

Just a note to Thank you all again.
Our anniversary was perfect, dinner was wonderful, plans for the future were made and ain't Love Grand?
Best wishes to all of you who celebrate anniversaries, 2 years or 200, they are all precious!
