Rant: Almost never being able to click on the "post a reply" button (at either the top or bottom of a thread) and having anything happen.
Rave: Being able to do so today! Maybe the curse has been lifted!
Rant: Restaurants and other eating and drinking establishments that don't post the prices of drinks, so you can drink according to your budget or avoid straining the pocketbook of your companion.
Rave: The overall friendliness and supportive nature of contributors to Fodor's--you've helped me a lot, and I will continue to rely on you; with luck, I'll be able to post or respond once in a while to return the favor!

Rave: Began working out today and I feel so clear headed and energized.

Rant: I can't feel my legs.

Rave: All three grandaughters got straight A report cards. High School and Middle School

Rave: Middle granddaughter had scary neurological problem All well!!

Rave: big GTG in Honolulu on 8/6. SEveral local and several Asia board posters. Can't wait to meet them all!

Rant: some really weird people that have been posting here recently- the perverted kid who thinks heavy breathing on line is exciting, BKreug/ BKlaus who can't get handle the fact that the US and Japan are now frinds, etc.

Wednesday, That clear headed feeling from exercise is the best feeling you can get. I need to start working out agian. Most problems melt away after exercising.

Rave: Sweet mountain air, cool temps and rhododendrons in bloom.

Rant: Sweltering hot storage units - HAVE GOT to finish clearing out the big one this weekend. Volunteers accepted!

Margot - my thoughts and prayers are with you. My Gracie died a year ago and I still miss her - but it's good to have other pups around to laugh at and love. We hiked to the mountain lookout this morning that she enjoyed romping at so much. Wonderful memories and new ones in the making.
