Rave: Closure today on a very challenging personal situation.

Rave: Good friends providing morale support through very challenging personal situations.

Rave: Good friend telling me I've lost weight because my face &quot;looks skinny&quot;.

Rave: Lightning bugs and a rock chorus of frogs greeting me home. Walking in the twilight with labs frolicking and swimming, horses complaining (wanting oaks) and lightning bugs all around.

Rave: Bonnie-not-so-broad's successes and Miz Scarlett's house selling so quickly.

Rant: The lows on life's roller coaster.

Rave, the week has ended and it is Friday! TGIF.
Rave: NW airlines working out flights to Rome for my SIL and daughter all spur of the moment and having business class seats next to each other available (with use of FF miles) on all segments of the flight.
Rant: This trip will not be a vacation but rather SIL taking care of things as both his mother and father are in different hospitals in Rome.
Rave: SIL's employer graciously telling him to take all the time he needs in Rome.
Rant: My suitcase gets to go to Rome and I don't!
Rave: I will have my dear 14 year old grandson for over two weeks.
Rant: I will be cooking constantly, LOL. Young men do like to eat.
Rave: Friends that give support and drop everything when you need assistance.

Thank god for the cemetary near my house that remains the resting spots of folks like Ghiradelli,MacArthur,Merritt and other monied folks round these parts(also designed by Frederick Olmstead of Central Park fame)..I have a decent place to walk and ponder the hereafter!
