Rave: I am a greataunt, vs the great aunt I used to be! My favorite neice just had an 8 lb 15 oz daughter- the first of this generation!

Rave: have spent all week making ti-leaf swags, mock orange garlands, and picking/washing ferns to decorate the arena for graduation tomorrow night.

Rant: That after tomorrow, I'll no longer be a Punahou School parent. It has been a wonderful experience over the last 13 years and I will truly miss being a part of the school.

Rave: Thailand and India in August!

Rave: Scarlett's sale! May it go smoothly and quickly!

Rave: leaving next week for 12 days in Italy - Capri, Positano, and Naples. We booked this trip last August, and I've spent nine months telling myself it was too early to get excited about it. Now I can!

Rant/rave: as usually happens right before vacation, workload has shot up exponentially. Bad for the stress level. Good (income) for future traveling opportunities.

Rave: and on the subject of (former) work, the US Supreme Court unanimously overturning the conviction of Arthur Andersen this week!

Scarlett - congrats on your sale, but we won't be able to wave to you anymore on our way to Amelia Island.
