Rant: I am not in Hawaii any more...boo hoo
Rave: I am in North Carolina where it is gorgeous, sunny and warm. Mountain laurel is blooming and life is good.
Rant: Gee, can't think of one. That's a RAVE!

Rave: Gotta love the long weekend -- and don't have to work!

Big Rant: My little kitty has a terrible eye infection and is sneezing and just overall droopy AND we have to transport him in that condition tonight to our new house -- only an hour away but hopefully the trauma of the car ride isn't going to make his condition worse.... :(

Rant- lots of yard work to do and no time to do it-

Rave- its summer in Oregon- hiking at the Oregon coast on Sat followed by gourmet potluck. Wine tasting in the Willamette Valley Sun- most are open with entertainment, wine and food.

Michelle, our cat had that as a kitten and we found out when he just did not stop sneezing all over us that he had a kitten staph infection..so take the little bit to the vet to be sure!
Our little guy was so snuggly, he would without fail, sneeze ON us :)

A beautiful Friday afternoon here in NJ!! Worked 12 hours today,but started at 3am,so atleast I have a few more hours of sunshine...there is a bright side!
RAVE:After 6 months of (at times tearful) frustration, my company came through with my transfer to the WA/OR area! Looks like I'll be there November...relieved that I don't have to "start at the bottom" again with another company.

RANT:My Mom has put alot into perspective for me...in the last month she has been diagnosed with a degenerated left hip that will eventually require replacement, gallstones-and lots of them (I had ONE stone and my gall bladder was removed..ranks up there in the pain department with my labor before the epidural!), a UTI,pancreantitis(sp?),and finally and most seriously- ET, which is a form of luekemia,where her body makes too many platelets and can lead to excessive bleeding or clotting and stroke. She spent 31/2 days of our trip out to WA last week in the hospital...can't get the gall baldder removed til the treatment to reduce platelets kicks in more.I can't believe what she has gone through.Every trip to the doctor seems to reveal a new dilemma...but I we are all so proud of how she's handling it all....

Rave: heading to NYC for the weekend!
