Rant: Does anyone but me wonder how some of the news anchors manage to hold on to their jobs?

Rave: Mr.GoTravel's first Memorial Weekend off in almost 30 years!

Rave: Happy Birthday, Happy Anniversary, and Congrats to any Graduates! Ain't life wonderful!

Rave: Beautiful weather for this weekend which means the beach will be fab!

Rave: Love to all, love to all!

RAVE: College friend and her child are coming to visit this weekend!

RAVE: Beautiful weather for the Hot Air Balloon Festival! We're hoping the kids will love it.

RAVE: Held a tiny, hours-old newborn baby this week. My friend's first. Was 7 pounds, 4 weeks early! Such a beautiful time in her life!

Rave: Liverpool beat AC Milan in the Champions League final. We are Champions of Europe!!!

Rant: It's FOOTBALL not soccer.

Rant: In-laws are coming. We just moved into our new apartment. Wish they had maybe planned another time.

Rave: In-laws are coming. And taking us to a Braves game tonight. Every cloud has a silver lining. I really do love them!

Additional Rave: Husband bought me a ticket to the Braves Power Lunch at Maggiano's. Get to see my hero Julio Franco up close! WOO HOO!

Rave: Leaving for the UK tomorrow!! WOOHOO, the day is finally here!!

Rant: Last minute packing and panic attacks.

Rave: Escaping the Texas heat and spending 2 weeks in a cooler climate.

Rant: The doggie-sitter came over last night to pick up our dog. We miss her already. :-((

Rave: We're lucky to have good doggie-sitters so she doesn't have to be boarded.

Rave: Leaving for the UK tomorrow. YIPPEE!!

(I know I said that one already, but it can't be over-emphasized!!)

RAVE: Beautiful Memorial Day Weekend expected in the Triangle, maybe just a little rain, and the YMCA pool officially opens tomorrow for the summer.

RAVE: Getting addicted to exercise! :-) Who knew???

Rave: Tired of Boston weather, so I'm flying the family to Orlando for the Weekend.

Rant: Expedia. A plethora of miscue's on their part with booking. My computer was down so I called them to book the trip, they took it upon themselves to NOT issue my one year old a ticket. Their excuse was that" He didn't need one until he is two". Lesson learned is to never book via phone with expedia. If I had done it on line, at least I know it it would be my error.

Rave: Leaving for Jamaica in four weeks!

Rant: Getting sucked back into Star Wars after 25 years.

Rave: Summer vacation starts today for my kids--now that they're older, I actually look forward to breaks, when we see them at least a LITTLE more!

Rave: I'm so proud of the wonderful people my two teens are becoming--watching their transformation into adulthood is humbling, to say the least

Rave: Dance recital tonight for DD, soccer tournament tomorrow for DS

Rant: DH has some sort of wretched sore throat/cloggy nose and throat thing and may miss both events :-(

Big Rant: to the brave men and women that we're celebrating this weekend--thank you!

rant: Boston weather has really sucked for a month now, and there is no end in sight

rant: Red Sox lost again last night :-(

rave: at least its almost the long weekend, and since its raining I just can't do my yard work :-)

Rave: Working from home, just got a raise, can begin to save to move next year anywhere I want to

Rant: I have no idea where I want to move...want to go out west, someplace fairly artsy not so humid as where I am now...looking at everyplace from Taos, NM to Sandpointe, ID...

Rave: Everybody's plans for summer fun!

More raves: Two grandchildren (8 and 12) will be with us next week. We're getting the fishing and ski boats ready.

We had a great spur-of-the-moment trip to New Orleans Monday to Wednesday. So much good food!

Friends coming over tomorrow night for barbecue and bonniebroad's wonderful potato salad.

Rave: We bought a house and it's 3x the size of my single girl condo!!
Rave: We made $$! We felt rich for 3 1/2 hrs til we used the money for our downpayment on the new house.
Rave: We move Friday (and that's why this is posted under Scarlett's name.)
Rave: Good moving weather. The movers won't collapse with heat stroke like when I moved to Atlanta several years ago.
Rave: I talked my husband into buying all new appliances...
Rant: I now have to talk him into redoing cabinets and floors. Hehehe

Rave: After a rainy cool week in NJ, the sun is shining & temps in the 70's promised all weekend! ((#))

Rave: At this time next week I'll be in Key West! (Looking for an internet cafe to post my FFR&R). Will keep a journal of the craziness which no doubt will ensue while travelling with friends.

Rave: suehoff's Trip Report on the Europe board. She is one gifted & funny writer! :))

Rave: Continued progress on home improvement projects in my "lower level" & foyer.

Rave: Fodor's friends! Last weekend's GTG was so much fun! :D

Rant: Budman's left for Kauai yesterday & didn't let us stow away in his luggage! :((
