I also shop Ulla Popken, and I would say if you find their prices acceptable, you will be able to find things in the same range at a Macy's or Dillards, maybe Bloomingdale's. Nordstrom and especially Neiman Marcus are a lot more expensive, except for sales. JC Penney is another department store to look at, with prices somewhat less than Dillards, and here in the midwest they usually have fun colorful summer things. I have to say I find Ulla Popken to be *much* nicer than anything at Walmart.

CJ Banks has really nice colorful things and similar prices, but apparently they have no store in Orlando.

TJ Maxx is a great place to shop, but be prepared to spend a lot of time hunting through the racks.

Macy's or Lane Bryant (imo) seem the closest to what you are seeking.

I just came across this place online www.extrafreshproduce.com
Very colorful and young. According to the store locator they have a couple of stores in Orlando. I have never shopped there but the clothes look nice; may be worth a stop.

Call me a What Not To Wear snob, but the clothing at both the Fresh Produce and Ulla Popkin is entirely too casual for work, and their styles are the type that make you look fatter rather than stylish. To each her own...

Listen to Christie - and to Avenue.

...and go to Avenue

I have quite a few things from Fresh Produce (I stock up at the store in Mount Dora every year) and while they are too casual for work, no way do they make me look fatter. I would NOT be buying them if they did! I live in Europe and always get compliments on my Fresh Produce clothes.

My mother (in Leesburg) just said that one of the big malls in Orlando is undergoing major renovations...is it Mall of Millenia?

If you get up to The Villages, you'll find some nice shops that carry mid-priced clothes up to say, size 18 (US). Esp. in the Spanish Springs Town Square. More and more shops are opening over in the Lake Sumter shopping area too. Both are pretty squares with cafes and restaurants as well as shops. And Spanish Springs has live music (virtually) every night.

Somehow or other everybody has forgotten the best whether on line or in a shop-...JC Pennys..www3.jcpenney.com/jcp/Department.aspx?DeptID=597&CatID=597&CatTy p=DEP&Dep=women%27s&cmResetCat=true
Old Navy quality turns me off..and I just hate walking into a "fat womens" store.. like Lane Brant and Romans.. Even though there is a Pennys at the closest mall I've gotten some beautiful things online.. You might try Target, but Walmart--tacky. Bought two beautiful bathing suits at an "outlet"here in MA..great quality.. A few of the places like Ann Taylor have a line of larger sizes.. Now, here is something nobody has mentioned.. we go to craft shows...here in MA.. and there are booths and I do have one particular woman who hand paints beautiful tops and jackets and the prices are very reasonable.. I don't want to look like everybody else who has walked out of the large size stores.. Ohyes.. I'm a senior..lol

On line, qvc.com has a large variety (from casual to dressy) of clothes in all sizes from XS to 3X. I'm a M myself, though think it's great they cover all sizes for all of their lines.

extrafreshproduce.com is a web site where you can get Fresh Produce clothes in plus sizes. Stick to your size, do not order up. Also, in Orlando there is a Fresh Produce only store in the shopping/restaurant area in front of Universal Studios. Free parking after 6 PM and a great selection of all sizes of Fresh Produce clothes.
