Sorry about the typos, I'm half asleep!

I spotted Kris Kristopherson's and Woody Harrelson's homes in Hana while flying a trike.......does that count! And Tyra Banks had an annoying photo shoot at Redsands beach, which prevented us from feeling free to feel free....the horror!!! How dare they intrude on our paradise!!!!!!!!

I guess seeing our Mayor on one of our downtown city streets doesn't count does it?

Interresting comments regarding Pierce Bronson. When we saw him he was with his wife. The reason I first noticed was because he was dressed so well. He was sitting right next to the gift shop where everyone walked by going to the gate.

Regarding looks, very handsome, one of the most handsome men I have ever seen. Tanned (but not like George Hamilton lol) with distinguished crow's feet and a nice bod. As you can see I have the hots for older men=P~ He could ring my bell anytime;;)

I saw Tom Selleck on Oahu several years ago. He was filming an episode of "Magnum P.I." I got terribly excited so my husband fired up the video camera and sent me off to get some photos. I spent about forty minutes watching him. When we got home and ran the video all we had was a tape of my feet and a voice over saying "Oh, my God, he is gorgeous." over and over and over....naturally it is the family joke never to give me a camera if it is a sight worth saving. He is, by the way, gorgeous.

:-) reminds me of when we were walking past Buckingham palace and Queen Elizabeth and driver came through the gate. There were only about 5 of us on the sidewalk and she waved at us. My husband had the camera around his neck and fumbled to take a picture. When the picture was developed, he had taken a picture of her driver!

I saw Jack Lord in Honolulu back in 1977 when Hawaii 5-0 was still being filmed there. This past summer I saw Wilford Brimley at the concierge desk at the Grand Wailea. A friend of mine saw Owen Wilson surfing at Waikiki about three summers ago while she was on her honeymoon. She ran for her camera while her husband detained him...

Please please please forgive me for this, and I know everybody will flame me for it and I don't blame you one bit, I truly don't, but - plurals do NOT have apostrophes! As in "spotting's" "celebrity's" and "island's".
I'm sorry. I have this compulsion. I can't help it. I will try to get treatment one of these days. I promise.

Sorry for the bad grammar. : (

We once saw Ed Bradley getting his shoes shined in the Denver airport. Morgan Fairchild shopping in a department store in L.A. The baseball Cardinal Willie who-did-backflips-in-the-outfield at the St. Louis airport.
A college friend of ours is now a big international star, and we have been in public with him several times. It's certainly a different perspective on that side of the coin. People go crazy and get very pushy and obnoxious, elbowing us and his other friends out of their way to stand by him. He takes it all in stride, but it must get old really quick. After one night of it, I'd had enough. Can't imagine a life of it.

P.S. I think his name was Ozzie Smith-- not Willie something.

Lex1 Apr 27th, 2005 08:00 AM

Thank you meesthare. Read as fingernails on a blackboard sound.

Ozzie Smith was a shortstop.

They filmed an episode of "Lost" at the cathedral at my daughter's school one day last fall.

My daughter and some friends got to meet the guy who was in Lord of the Rings - "the Hobbit", they called him. They said he was very friendly, spoke with them for a while and took pictures. Trying to drop her off for school that morning was a nightmare, though.

The only person close to a celebrity I've seen is Phil Keoghan from the Amazing Race - met and chatted with him several years back in New Zealand, right after AR1 aired. Very nice man - friendly and personable.

I was on a small American Eagle plane from Chicago O'Hare to Lansing, MI, and sat across the aisle from Doug Davidson; he plays Paul from Young and the Restless.

I was so sure that it was not him; but I kept staring at him the whole time, thinking "it looks like him". He knew that I was looking at him too.

I was thinking why would he be on a plane to Lansing, MI?

When my mom picked me up, and he got in a Limo. I told her the story, and she told me that there was a Soap Star thing at the Lansing Center on Saturday.

Chico
KK and Willie have been known to "jam" in Hana where they both have homes. Locals like 'em a lot apparently.

Six years ago, my husband and I hosted a party for the son & daughter (both were getting married one month apart) of a friend of ours. During this party, a guy came up to me and struck a cordial conversation.

I couldn't place where I knew him, but was certain that I did. To say the least, I was busy entertaining guests and missed the hub-bub gossip going around! Seems this nice guy that was at our party was Bruno Kirby... Billy Crystal's side-kick in City Slickers, and several other Crystal films.

I didn't find out until the following morning when one of the quests called to ask me if I got his autograph!!!

He apparently was engaged to a relative of the people we threw the party for.

No offense Luvmaui, but Meetshare, that's been driving me crazy too. :-)

Ozzie Smith's son was on American Idol this season.

luvmaui71 Apr 27th, 2005 06:34 PM

I'm sorry.
