Vote for Austin. Great colleges in the area, lots of outdoors activities, great music and friendly people. I think the Bush girls would agree...

bobcats Jul 18th, 2001 09:50 AM

Athens, Ohio home of Ohio University.

Austin SUCKS! Stay away! Don't even think of moving here! <BR> <BR>Lisa <BR>From the growing much too fast city of Austin, the bad traffic capitol of the world.

Nancy Jul 18th, 2001 10:37 AM

Madison, WI---no doubt about it! one of the top 10 cities to live in. <BR> <BR>GO BADGERS!

i'mhere Jul 18th, 2001 10:53 AM

Lisa from Austin......you haven't seen traffic till you have been to Atlanta, not only is it gridlock we drive like s**t around here! <BR> <BR>GO GATORS!

Tiger Jul 18th, 2001 11:57 AM

Clemson is without a doubt the best college town you will come ever encounter!

Anna Jul 18th, 2001 12:06 PM

Madison, Wisconsin home of the Badgers

RButler Jul 18th, 2001 12:07 PM

I can vouch for that nasty traffic in Atlanta too. I know y'all like to rank yourselves, so how does Atlanta rank in traffic this week? #5? #3? #1?????? <BR> <BR>The best college town? Indianapolis, Indiana, of course, the home of Butler University.

heather Jul 18th, 2001 12:39 PM

Boulder CO - GO Buffs!!

crt Jul 18th, 2001 01:16 PM

Harvard is in Boston?? Somebody better tell the people in Cambridge to go find and and bring it home again.

crt Jul 18th, 2001 01:18 PM

I meant, "go find IT AND bring it home again." What do you want from me? I'm not a Harvard grad.

GatorGirl Jul 18th, 2001 04:32 PM

Clempson sucks eggs.....the only thing there is a stupid Subway......for a "real" college campus go to South Bend! <BR> <BR>Traffic in HotLanta this week is about a 3......school isn't back in session yet.....then the nightmare really begins...

Greg Jul 18th, 2001 04:37 PM

That's University of Florida 'edgucashun' at work for you! <BR>"Clempson" University does suck eggs. <BR>But Gainesville ain't exactly Oxford or Cambridge! <BR>While interviewing for medical schools I drove into Gainesville, spent about 10 minutes driving around town and exited straightaway without even bothering to stay for the interview. Knew I could never live there for four years. <BR>Go Blue Devils! Duke is tops!

xxx Jul 18th, 2001 07:53 PM

Clemson is a trailer park gone bad.

David Jul 18th, 2001 08:09 PM

AMHERST no doubt is the BEST college town... <BR>the reason, in addition to the ones stated above, is that the schools are, in fact, real colleges, and not just minor league facories for pro sports teams.

GatorGirl Jul 19th, 2001 04:28 AM

Now let's be clear here, you don't come to Gainesville to get an education......you come to party and watch football! Don't try to make it sound like we educate people.......we might get a bad reputation!!!!! <BR> <BR>Clemson is a trailer park gone bad.....

UF med student Jul 19th, 2001 06:55 AM

For Greg (pre-med? - isn't everyone) <BR> So you chose what medical school to apply to by where they were located? Interesting and stupid. <BR> Unless your GPA is greater than 3.8 you would not have been accepted - but you already knew that, didn't you?
