Me too, Patrick.
I just emailed the editors...

cd Feb 27th, 2007 06:19 AM

That was happening to me also. I cleaned up all my cookies and it hasn't happened since.

suze Feb 27th, 2007 06:26 AM

Patrick, Nope that's EXactly what was happening to me for the past couple days.

marleneawe Feb 27th, 2007 06:36 AM

Yep it has been weird. I could not post, but could read. Got a blank page when I tried to reply. Signing in did nothing. I contacted Fodors and received no reply. Then the next day all was well, so I thought great. Then yesterday nothing again!! Another email to Fodors and no reply. And today well here I am. LOL

Oooh, cd, I hate cleaning all my cookies. 'Cause then I have to remember all my logins on all the different sites I use.

And it gets crumbs everywhere hee hee.

Couldn't post in Firefox but IE seems to be OK ...

Betsy Feb 27th, 2007 09:35 AM

Posting in Firefox just fine!

mclaurie Feb 27th, 2007 10:40 AM

Posting problems AGAIN on IE/AOL. Now when I click to post a reply, the screen moves to the right of the monitor. I get a box to put a reply in, but when I click "post..." nothing happens---the screen is empty. Good grief!

This is posted on Firefox.

Just seeing if this will post. I've been having the same problems for most of the day and have tried to post on a couple of other boards, so this box is in the normal place. I'll see what happens on the other boards. Glad it's not just me.

I was having problems earlier trying to post in Internet Explorer (header info moves to left of screen, posted information never appears), but it seems to be working okay for me now.

suze Feb 27th, 2007 02:21 PM

I couldn't get on all day, but now I can (3pm pacific time)

FainaAgain Feb 27th, 2007 02:28 PM

Frustrating day but it seems that now the glitches are gone and everyone can post again.

I still am unable to post from home. My log in doesn't show up automatically and when I try to log in I get a blank screen. I have a Mac -- any suggestions?

(I'm posting this from work)

repete Feb 28th, 2007 06:53 AM

fyi, two posts that seemed to go thru -- one each on firefox and another on ie -- never made it yesterday. i'm guessing this is an equal-opportunity problem on Fodor's end.

As recommended by others, try to clean out your cookies, close down your browsers, and restart your computer. We've heard from some posters that this did enable them to log back on correctly.

We apologize for the inconvenience; please email us at [email protected] with "forums" in the subject line if you continue to have trouble today.

Thank you for being patient!
