Oh god, I don't know why I'm even bothering to get involved here, but as I've just got back from the funeral of my uncle, who spent 6 years on the beaches of Dunkirk, fighting through the African desert with Montegomery, and scrapping his way up through Italy during WW2, and have shed a few tears and downed a few glasses of wine in his honour, it makes me SO FED UP to read the standard American line about you saving all our asses 60 years ago. Please read some statistics on http://www.secondworldwar.co.uk/casualty.html and perhaps you'll get it into your narrow minded skull that this was a WORLD war, with many many countries involved, and it took the combined military might of many peoples to rid our world of that evil. Slag off our politics by all means, but don't insult us.
