Why the Old Europe just doesn't get it?
The old Europe is kind of going through a renaissance for the last few years, but it won't last. They pulled their resources together and it seems to them that they are back on top. They actually think they are the old powerful world powers. Most of their power came from abusing the third world and their riches build from sweat and misery of their colonial slaves. If it wasn't for US of A most Europeans would still be eating bratwurst and marching to "seig heil". If it wasn't for US of A the Frenchies would be kissing their neighbors behinds. And if it wasn't for US of A the Poles would be speaking very good Russian today.
Why or why are they so ungrateful? |
Troll. Please ignore.
|
So, it's ok to question US policies, but as soon as I question the Old Europe stupidity, I should be ignored?
Truth hurts? :-) |
cccp, Liberals only like their points to be taken seriously.
|
Hi cccp,
So glad you registered just to give us the benefit of your sage wisdom. Isn't your screen name a bit dated? |
What does my screen name have to do with anything?
I'm a history buff and I love the CCCP period of European history. Is it ok with you if I chose that as my screen name? Now let's get back to the original question. |
Interesting how cccp was so quickly called a troll.
Is only America/American-bashing allowed on this forum? |
>Now let's get back to the original question.<
Why? It is not worth discussing. |
Yes. And you're only allowed to bash 50% of those. You still get to pick which 50%. |
Bratwurst?? We feast on Champagne, truffles, and caviar!
Why? Because our money is worth more than yours, do da do da Our money is worth more than yours, oh do da day!!!!!!!!!!!! |
"Most of their power came from abusing the third world and their riches build from sweat and misery of their colonial slaves."
Doesn't this apply equally well to the US? Are you suggesting that those you feel should be "grateful" to the US should simply go along with everything our administration wants in all perpetuity? (When even many Americans question it?) I think not. |
Hey, thin. I thought you were a rich kid who got sent to America to enjoy the good life? Did you go back to the old country?
|
The above post really shows the intelligence level of the poster.
What does the exchange rate of money have to do with anything? |
>We feast on Champagne, truffles, and caviar!<
That's why Europeans are what they are; they eat that foreign food. :) |
ira, I thought it was the mineral water and goose innards that made them so special.
|
Lesli,
I never said that. Why is it ok to question US policies and not the European's? There is another thread that I know you are aware of. The same person (xyz123) constantly bashes US, so I thought we should have an equal forum. I never said that our policies are the best and the only ones, but it seems to me that many Europeans think that theirs are. |
Re: If it wasn't for US of A the Frenchies would be kissing their neighbors behinds.
Those same "Frenchies", arguably, played a very significant role in helping the U S of A become an independent country in the first place. |
Agreed. Touche'
|
capo, I think the French did it not because they were just kind and generous people, but because they hated the English and supported us to enchance there military and trade position in the new world.
|
Probably true. But do you think their intentions mattered to the colonists?
I mean, if you save me from certain death from being hit by a speeding train, I don't think I'd care if you were only doing it to get a spot on Fear Factor. :) |
