Aaack, I'm going nuts! I just tried calling the hôtel but my trip is so far in advance that they aren't accepting reservations for another 2 months!

Oh well. I've been coping by going on www.whatsonwhen.com, perusing thru events in Paris and "cutting out articles" (a feature they have where you can save the items you want to your account on that website). Besides finding out that the Winter sales will still be on while I'm there (I should be able to shop just when they slash price to 70% off), the Hôtel de Ville will still have its skating rink open, but the Chinese New Year will be celebrated while I'm there in the 13th arrondissement, an area I was checking out anyway. I'm excited.

Anybody else?

3 more days, and going nuts already, packing, checking, double-checking, triple-checking... First time to Europe. Dream of melted cheese and yodeling cows ;) Swiss Alps pictures everywhere. No on-line check-in. Where is my flight schedule? Is my passport in the money belt or in the purse?

Ahh, the joy of travel and pre-travel anxiety :)

Eleven days until we leave for Iceland!
I can't wait.

Yodeling cows....too funny.

Beatchick..hang in there. The sad thing is, you spend all this time anticipating, then the trip will be over in a heartbeat. Just means you have to start another countdown to the next trip.

Like Elle, I would have already traveled by this time, so my trip in July is making me a tad bit cranky, but very hopeful and taking in every detail - which is a bad thing since I like to be a little spontaneous. As a project & event manager, I can plan things to the minute if given the chance!

I have 53 days left til Italy, and can't wait. I've already itemized & packed my luggage in my head (just have to remember to pack in real life!). I am still debating whether I should get the train tickets yet, since I'm FINALLY within 60 days of some of my travels in Italy.

I think I need a drink.

My "day counting" is over....leave for London tomorrow night. The 5:50pm departure direct from Atlanta!

20 days to go till our trip to London, Paris, Brugge, and Amsterdam!
I've been spending (wasting?) time finding the nearest tube/metro/tram stop to all the places we'll be seeing, collecting every online map I can find, and of course finding new tidbits of info here on Fodor's.
