Antonio (sans Melanie)
Aidan Quinn (Be still my heart)
Ronan Tynan (He could sing me to sleep)
James Cann (A NY type of guy)
Mel Gibson (Enough said)

Sorry people just one more.....(had a great dream about him, after seeing "Elizabeth") Joseph Fiennes...is he Welsh???? AND, he has a twin, can you believe it????

s.fowler Oct 30th, 2000 04:59 AM

The new president of Yugoslavia, Kostunica. He's well educated, committed to the rule of law and I'd like to hear his in person to judge what his election means for the Balkans.

OK, S. Fowler. You win the award for the most enormous brain. :-)

ilisa Oct 30th, 2000 05:39 AM

Any astronaut that I have not already met (I have to keep adding to my collection of astronaut autographs) or Bono of U2.

Kim Oct 30th, 2000 06:39 AM

Ilisa took my top choice-- Bono of U2. Other choices would be Matt Damon, or Liam Neeson (without Natasha Richardson).

Camille Oct 30th, 2000 07:16 AM

Johnette Napolitano

lisa Oct 30th, 2000 08:04 AM

George Stephanopoulos

Elvira, of course. Everybody loves her and then I could be part of the in-crowd.

Thyra Oct 30th, 2000 08:24 AM

Judy, Just FYI, Joseph Fiennes is English, and if I remember correctly one of his parents is titled, he does have a twin, and his older brother is the georgeous Ralph Fiennes... apparently Joseph's twin is the only member of the family NOT in arts and entertainment. His mother was also an established writer who passed away from cancer... gee guess you all know who my seat partner would be... either Ralph or Joseph.....*sigh

Ricky Martin - just to look at him during the flight

Dave Oct 30th, 2000 09:17 AM

Callista Flockhart (sp?)

I don't think she's attractive, and I'm not that interested in talking to her, but I'm a typical obese American, and just think of all that extra elbow room I'd have!

Cindy Oct 30th, 2000 09:48 AM

Dave,

Bonus: Calista is, um, watching her weight, so you could eat her meal! :-)

Tammy Oct 30th, 2000 09:50 AM

Here's another vote for Joseph Fiennes! Watched Shakespeare in Love for the 3rd time....SIGH!!!!!

Second choice would be Dennis Quaid, and he is single these days!

Dave Oct 30th, 2000 09:55 AM

Alan Greenspan or Peter Lynch

Beth Y. Oct 30th, 2000 11:19 AM

Going over, I would choose John Cusack, no question, with the hope that something would develop and we would get to hang around Europe together. Assuming my husband may have a problem with that, I would say Susan Sarandon on the way back for a good long talk.

SharonM Oct 30th, 2000 11:23 AM

It's a real toss up between Johnny Depp and Antonio Banderas...or Paul Newman.

Oprah???? She's nice and all but really! Given the choice, I'd easily go around the world with one of the above!
