Obviously, the post above is not from me. And everybody but this loser knows that I have no such tour guide business.<BR><BR>I used to get angry about this kind of vicious slop. Then I went through a phase of trying responses that were sarcastically sweet.<BR><BR>Now, I just feel so sorry for this pathetic, lonely person.<BR>

Hopelessly and gloriously addicted!! I first visited last summer when we decided to take a family trip to Italy this coming June. Since then, besides all the amazingly helpful advice I've received, I've been amused, entertained, and sometimes annoyed by all the comments and intriguing questions posted here. I feel like I know some of you personally. When at work, I try to tell myself to first work for an hour or two before letting myself sign on to see what's new. Then I'll read a few postings and sign off, but will check back again later in the day. I've learned where to get cheap tickets and car rentals (and have done both successfully for June!), what's important to see and how to get tickets to see it (like the Necropolis excavation in St. Peter's that I just received confirmation for), links to other interesting travel sites, and ideas for my next European trip. Of course I read travel guides too, but there's no substitute for real people recommendations! (ok, now I really have to do some work!!)

Yes I am hopelessly addicted! I am just now planning our very first euopean trip and at first I came here just for the info but soon I was hooked! I love reading all the funny answers, helpful replys and even enjoy throwing my two cents in when i have a few! I also love living vicariously through others travels. It gives me hope and something to lookforward to! When I first came here my traveling list was London and Paris and now it's forever and a day long! I am also just plain curious to see how others think! Thank you for all the great info and entertainment! Keep the fun rolling. Happy travels.
