SharonG: What a creative, informative, and hilarious trip report! Here I was trying to research London, because I'm going to Poland, and I end up reading about Amsterdam!

I know that sounds like it makes little sense. We're going to Poland and the Czech Republic, but London is actually a convenient stop on the way, and some flights that I like go from LAX to London...

Since your trip report is now famous on fodors forum, when I spied the title, I knew I had to make a research detour to Amsterdam

I didn't know the Anne Frank House is in Amsterdam...very interesting to know. Also do you know of any classes in speaking Klingon that we can sign up for?! :-D

I love Europe so I have to fit in Amsterdam (and Paris) on one of our trips.

Amsterdam and Paris are 2 of my alltime favorite cities. I loved reading your report and knowing exactly what and where you were talking about. And sigh, yes, I have a little Amy in me as well!!

Of course, I was originally searching for hotels in Munich in June,but I can't resist these super funny reports.

Saw this on the newsletter and stopped all work and read the trip report. Fantastic! I felt like I was on this trip. Thank you for taking me away from my wicked boss and showing me beautiful Pareee once more :) Can't wait to read about the next trip....
BTW, I think I might have a touch of "Amy Flu". Spreadsheets -can't live without them....

Amy let me know that I was a featured Fodorite in May's newsletter so I came back to the report as well. Saundra and I did the "Women with Money Tour" in Paris in March/April 2008 but I never got around to writing the report. Sorry! We are planning a return April 2010 (again without Amy, this time she's going to Japan to torture those poor people) so Saundra and I will be on our own again. Kind of like a grudge match.
