HEY Cigalechanta!!

So Freedom Fries and Freedom Toast have now extended to Freedom Kisses??? LOL!

I'll see if I can't accommodate your request. ; )
|
Bob - I also requested a copy of your list but didn't give my email address - please send it to [email protected] - sorry but still looking forward to using your list in april thanks
|
Bob - if you're still looking at posts a year later I also would love to have your list. I plan the same way you do but don't have your extensive list of restaurants, etc. I do put my itinerary on an excel spreadsheet with columns for morning, afternoon, and evening. That way I don't arrive at a museum and find I'm there on the day it's closed. I also find this a handy way to plan activities in the same section of a city rather than running all over town. Hope your Paris trip was great.

adrienne

Bob - forgot to include my email address: [email protected].

Thanks,
adrienne
I would love to have a copy of your list. I'm not sure how to find people's e-mails on here so if you could send it to me at [email protected] that would be great. Thanks again!

Bob, if able to - please email your list to me at [email protected]. Thanks.

Dear Bob or anyone with Bob's list!!

Leaving in 2 weeks for Paris and would love to get a copy!!

If anyone would take pity and send one to the e-mail below I would be grateful!!

Merci

[email protected]

Bob, I appreciate your hard work, and I appreciate your willingness to share. I'd love a copy! My email is as follows:
[email protected]
Thanks in advance!

I spend a lot of time researching places to eat, then find when I get to Paris it's not always convenient to eat lunch or dinner at specific place because I am usually in another area and there are always good restaurants wherever you are.
One place we stumbled upon which was excellent for seafood was Bistro Cote de Mer on boulevard St. Germaine and Cardinale Lemoine. It was not inexpensive (about $110 for 2) but was worth it-I see it is now included in Fodors.

Bob: I have no idea if you are aware that this thread is alive and kicking again, but if so I would love to have a copy of your hard work. I am an incorregible planner and have pages and pages of notes from this site as well as numerous guidebooks and general travel literature. I would love to add this list to all the rest. My e-mail is [email protected]. Merci beaucoup!

I'm with you on doing prep work. I always map out an itinerary, but remain very flexible. Things change because of weather, mood, unexpected closures, etc..... I always like to have a ready list of things to do, places to go, good restaurants, but I don't kill spontaneous adventure with it! At least if you divert from the plan, you know what you're missing, and if it's worth it to you. If you like tea rooms, I wouldn't miss Lauduree at the original location near the Madeleine. Their famous "Macaroons" (not the ones we think of) really are divine. My favorite is the ROSE flavored and coconut ones. I manged to baby a box of the delicate ones home w/o damage and gave them as a thank you gift to a favorite nursery that I frequent. They raved about them for a long, long time.

On our way to Paris this summer and would a copy of your list if you are still distributing. Thanks very much.
[email protected]

Hello Bob, could you please send me a file too:

[email protected]

Thank you

Bob, my daughter and I leave for Paris on April 10 - hope you had a great trip, that you can respond to the hundreds of us who still want your list, and that you'll tell us all about your adventures. [email protected] Thank you.

If Bofinger's on there. I went last week and sat under the coupole - domed glass ceiling. Very pretty but the service was just as Patricia Wells describes, uneven as heck. It went into one of those time warps where you want to get up and start throwing things. although I love choucroute there, I might have it somewhere else next time. Another things, I really recommend Patricia Well's web site for finding the latest info on places. I really enjoy her lower budget places for the color. We went to a vietnamese place she recommended in the 6th on rue Princess and had Pho there. It was one of my daughter's favorite places. So, that might be a good filter. I haven't been to chez Julien lately, but it is still one of my alltime favorite memories.

Allright. Looks like Bob is among the missing. Maybe someone else has gotten his Excel list and can email it to all of those people who requested it after this thread was restarted. Merci.
|
Well, I did e-mail Bob a few days ago to let him know about the resurgence of his thread, so maybe it's not a good e-mail addy any longer or he just doesn't check it as often (or even better, he's off traveling somewhere!!).

Anyway, I did e-mail it to a few people here. If anyone else is interested, I'll be more than happy to e-mail my copy. My e-mail addy is as follows:
[email protected]

Also, it might be good to know who has recently received a copy from Bob? Then I won't duplicate the sendings.

Ciao,
MaryC : D
|
Bob, I love Paris and would love to receive a copy of your list. Forgive me for seeming stupid, but how are you supposed to send your list to all the previous posters, if they don't give you their email address.
|
I'm not sure if Bob has seen this thread yet or if he will, so I took the liberty of forwarding (via blind copy) my copy to the people who posted her/his e-mail addys requesting the file (since 2003).

IF I've left anyone out I do apologize; please feel free to e-mail me and I'll forward at my earliest convenience.

I think Bob would be happy to know how many people have requested his file this year!!!!

Ciao,
MaryC
: 0 )
