Bob, it's easier than one might think to go wrong when choosing a restaurant in Paris. Going with the surefire winners as you are doing with your list is a great idea.

I would love to have a copy of the list. I will be in Paris in May, and I love having information. The more the better! Have a great trip, and let us know about it when you get back!

would love to have your list. I'm just about the most spontaneous, "shoot from the hip" person there could be, but I can't stand to be somewhere turning in circles wondering where to go or what to do next, and most of all to be dissapointed in a meal I have anticipated. You see, only one meal I could realy rave about. Bear in mind, I am from Louisiana where our food is French of a sort, but certainly exceptional every day to what most of these "go with the flow-ers" probably eat. So, I have been making my own list and asking everybody I can for recommendations. To tell you the truth, it was my A.R. husband that suggested I do so, and after 32 years of marriage I am finding value in organization, and he in spontanaity and fun. Looking forward to the list, Bob, and have a great time!

correction to above typo:" I was in France last year and had only one meal I could rave about." Now, maybe it makes a little more sense.

The lists have been e-mailed to everyone who responded to this post or e-mailed me directly. If you haven't gotten it yet, e-mail me directly and I'll resend it. Also, please ignore the non-sensical new posting that I made earlier. Operator error. Good luck with the list!

Hey Bob, we are going to be in Paris around the 1st week in May. We would really welcome your list. We have concocted a list of our own but it does not equal yours. Thanks.

Bernie
Bob: I've been cutting and pasting from this site for over a year--for some of us, preparation is half the fun.

Please send me your list--I'm hoping to hit Paris in early November and would love the handy reference.

Thanks so much and don't forget to post your trip report! Some of us will have the excel spreadsheet handy and will add stars and checks to those you visit!

Bob,
I would love a copy of your list. We are going to Paris for our honeymoon, and we like to explore to new areas. Personally, I find a bakery can solve most anxieties! If you have a problem with my email address, please let me know. I set up a screen, and sometimes it blocks mail I do want to receive.

Bob, very good work on the list. Very succinct, very easy to read, very easy to follow (I'm sure that was your intention all along!). : )

I especially liked your designations for each place, such as it's a tea salon so you could have lunch, etc. there. Very good idea.

Normally I'd have a complete itinerary to go by but this trip we're basically winging it, so I feel much more comfortable having this list along. When we've meandered enough and decide it's time to eat I'll be able to find a well-recommended place at a quick glance without having to look thru several guidebooks for a good choice.

Thanks for doing all this work for us!!

Bob, please add me to your Email list for your spreadsheet. We will be in France at the end of May and I was attempting something similar. If your research extends beyond Paris, please share. Thanks, Daniela
