Is Owen still on this forum?

I'm all for a budget forum - hasn't anybody else been bothered by the snooty snobs that insult anybody that asks for help with budget fares or accomodations? I was once a daily visitor to this site but the condescending attitude of some of the "more respected" veterans toward folks out to save a few bucks has turned me off. I like the way Fodors controls (censors?) the nasty language that pervades Lonely Planet and Let's Go. I just wish they'd segregate the egalitarians and the commoners.
