That story about the shower door is a hoot, although it wasn't funny at the time. And how awful about your flight home!! HURL!! :&

Sorra Margherita will be our secret. :$

Your description of Croatia really makes me want to go. Thanks for this report.

PM - thanks for keeping "our" secret.

BTW, I just thought of something that might be of interest to those going to Dubrovnik. If you do not have a cell phone or do not want to purchase a phone card which can be used at phone booths, you can just go to the post office and use a phone there -- you will be charged accordingly. Not sure what the charge is for calls, but it might be the way to go. Everyone there seemed to recommend this method. (Nerio and girl at the TI) I opted for the phone card, but it wasn't cheap - 50 kuna for basically one, maybe 10 min. call to Canada.

Barb.. i'm with you on lovin Dubrovnik and wanting to go back already. I'm sorry you also had the awful bus ride to Split.. i was almost sorry we decided to even go to Trogir by halfway.. but once we arrived, it was worth it. i like your referrence to child-birth.. haha... funny how the good can make us forget the bad. YEAY! Glad you had a good overall trip.. thanks for the Rome info also.. someday it may come in handy for me.. if i ever make it there.

Hi Barb...Great trip report! But after your woes with transportation, I think you've earned hassle free travel from now on. I think I'd almost prefer the Divas. Well, there's something about forgeting the bad and remembering the good. Let's hope so.
