Mimi - Sorry to hear about your wonderful dog. It is so hard to go through losing a belowed pet. My thoughts are with you. Best wishes from my pups, Xena and Rosie, and from my kitties, too.

I haven't been part of this forum for long, and didn't know if it was proper to reply, but here goes, from one dog lover to another.

I'm so very, very sorry....Calvin, my dog, is my life. I can't imagine being without him.

Mimi, good wishes, and thoughts from me and barks from Talisker, the Scottie. I think one of the reasons I enjoy your posts is that you know dogs are special.

In 36 years of marriage we've outlasted a shepherd, beagle, Samoyed, golden, poodle/terrier and a most loved wolfe/Malamute. The only cure seems to have been to wait a decent interval then make our hearts hostage to another dog. Take care.

My "heinz 57" mutt and I are sending good thoughts your way!

So sorry to hear this. Bounder ((@)) and I send you best wishes.

I saw this last night. My husband walked in and found me with tears. He said Honey, what's wrong. I said the lady's dog is very sick. He just said, oh. He knows me so well. Michael and I and Pumpkin and Marilyn send best wishes. After our last heartbreaking loss of 13 year old Brandy, we have found much joy that we rescued our Marilyn.

I am very concerned that we have heard nothing from our Mimi. If you're out there Mimi, kindly update us. We are all thinking of you during this difficult time.

Scarlett Jul 29th, 2005 04:32 PM

I heard from Mimi a few days ago and things were not good. I know she was only posting when Misha was napping.
We will just wait and keep her in our thoughts..((F)) Scarlett

Thanks for the update, Scarlett. Please let her know that we are thinking of her.

Mimi-

My heart goes out to you .
Our dog is "an only child" and she is more human than most kids...
She is our 3rd schnauzer in 31 years and is definitely a major member of our family.

Saying a little prayer for you and your's....

We are on the third day of a 42-day RTW and we're already missing our little guy real bad. Leaving pets behind is one of the tougher parts of traveling, isn't it? All good wishes, Cigalechanta

Dear Mimi, so sorry for your loss. I saw it posted on the US forum. My wife and I send you hugs. Hopefully your trip to France will help ease the pain.

P_M Jul 30th, 2005 07:16 PM

Our Mimi, I can barely see my computer screen for the tears in my eyes. My heart is breaking for you....hugs, prayers, and more hugs are being sent your way.

OReilly Jul 30th, 2005 09:21 PM

Mimi, If anything should happen to Misha, our precious Scooter is waiting in doggie heaven to greet and protect her. He was 16 years old and his legs and mind were failing him, so I know what you are going through. It was hard for us, but we know that Scooter is running on the beach, just like he did when he was a healthy pup, something that he was no longer able to do here.

It took us awhile, but after 9 months, we have finally accepted that he is pain free and in a better place. He'll take good care of Misha, I promise, just like he's doing for his little 'sister' Chelsea.

Marianna Jul 31st, 2005 02:07 AM

Mimi, I am adding my thoughts of concern for you and Misha to this long list of people who have posted here. I send my best wishes to you. Take care!
