Julie, try 'Allure' by Chanel. It's a little lighter than 'Coco'. <BR>I love 'Coco' myself, but wear it only in winter.

I used to use a wonderful french perfume - years ago - but for the life of me, I can't remember the name, something like Bal de ? I wonder if it is still available

My favorite is L'Air Bleau (I think that's the spelling). I get it at Marshall Fields. While in Paris, I found it at the Guerlain store on the Champs Elysees, but the price was higher than I pay here in the U.S.

Here's another vote for Amarige from Givenchy and Allure from Chanel.

A favorite of mine is Samsara by<BR>Guerlain, but it can be a little heavy <BR>for office wear.<BR>Opium is great too.

What a fun thread! I'm a Guerlain woman, too. In summer I wear Aqua Allegoria Pamplelune and in winter I still like Shalimar. I'm sorry to hear about Ode--I was hoping I just couldn't get it in the US anymore and looked forward to finding it in Paris in October.<BR><BR>I wore Tresor for years, but it finally seemed too "sweet" to me.<BR><BR>Several years ago I bought a small vial of a Guerlain perfume in Paris that I used up and it was thrown out and I've searched for it ever since. All I can remember was that the packaging had lots of greenery--tropical almost--and I swear the name had something like "Eden" in it. If anyone can help me before I go back I'd be SO grateful--it was wonderful!

Ann, yes Noa is still made, but Cacharel doesn't make that much publicity for it, at least not here in Europe.<BR><BR>http://www.cacharel.com<BR><BR>Mel, if you're not sure about who made it, you better go to a department store (Le Bon Marche, Galeries Lafayette or Printemps) in Paris. They all have huge perfumery departments and will know what you're looking for. They also have testers, in case you're not sure.
