I am not saying that I am for crimes of any nature. however i did not see anyone on this site protesting when arabs and muslim citizens in the US were attacked and persecuted after the 11 September events last year. in fact many people considered it a necessary procedure in order to stop "terrrorism". however these people do not think it is ok for jews to be Persecuted (anti-semitic behavior as you call it) because jews in Jereusalem are killing hundreds of Arabs everyday. <BR>if you are against hate crime, you should be against all hate crimes, right?

It is hard to read some of the bigoted, cruel remarks above. The inability to comprehend how Israel is fighting for its very life, its own land, its place of original ownership that only recently have the Arabs decided they want demonstrates a lack of perspective and knowledge of historical fact. but on top of that, the apparent anti-semitism is nauseating. Equating Sharon's miliary actions with the Nazi holocaust is incredible - did the Jews of Europe plant bombs and blow themselves up just to kill civilians? Did Hitler have to protect his nation from the Jews? It is the place of a government, this time Israel, to protect its people from harm (read manipulated, crazed Palestinians who have been brainwashed from birth to believe that blowing up a Jew brings martyrdom and reward in heaven). Are the Palestinians living in squalor and distress? Absolutely but it is primarily because their own peoples have given them no help, education, industry except death to involve them. I couldn't have said it better Lilly. Obviously there is more anti-semitism on these boards than I would have expected. Forget about France--just go to Fodor's chats to see it in action. It's too bad that people haven't learned from the mistakes of their forefathers and that innocents continue to suffer. Jews have always been scapegoats and what these people don't understand that if suicide bombers are not stopped they will be on US shores killing Americans.

listening to the rants of xxx (who i would guess is arab and/or muslim) and others like him on this website and the "mouthpieces" of the Arab rhetoric on American talk shows make my blood boil. i am a non-arab/muslim/jew/israeli but an american woman with no particular affinity for either side. However, the palestinians are getting exactly what they deserve for not condemning the murderbombers. Israel has the full right to defend itself against these terrorists like the US does against osama and his ilk. Sharon, as much as I dislike him, has the OBLIGATION to defend Israelis against these attacks. Frankly, Israelis are doing the American dirty work for us. So, thank you Sharon, and please stay there until the murderbombers stop!! Any palestinian civialians who were killed in these raids were more than likely "collateral damage" since the terrorists are hiding amongst the civilians and, in fact, many civilians are the terrorists. They look like you and me, just as the 9/11 bombers lived in america amongst us. Arabs may be disgusted with the policies of america and israel. Unfortunately, they don't hold alot of credibility in free countries b/c they don't allow websites like this in their country, they only allow arab rhetoric on their tv and radio and put out so much propaganda b/c they know that if the "everyday" palestinians and other arabs knew the truth about america and the freedoms we have, they would want it too. They envy us. They will deny it, but it is true. If the arabs would change their attitude, fight their own leaders/dictators they could enjoy freedom and prosperity too. Hussein, Arafat and the other arabs are inflaming the palestinians and keeping things in turmoil so they won't focus on the sh**** job their own "leaders" (and i say that loosely) are doing and focus the rage where it should be focused which is at the dictatorships going on in that side of the world. Quit blaming america and everyone else for your problems! Arabs should ask their rich dictators to use their gold and oil money to put together legitimate armies and navies to defend themselves (rather than sending it to the families of murderbombers)in a legitimate manner against opposing armies (ie. the Israeli army) so that they don't need these crazy murderbombers to represent their cause. Maybe then reasonable Americans would listen to your possibly legitimate complaints. NOTHING, NOTHING, NOTHING justifies murderbombings. The Arabs may have some very valid points about the Israeli actions. Unfortunately, I will not listen to their voices until they stop these idiots who are only harming their cause worldwide.

I think they should be boycotted because they didn't let the US planes fly over when we were after Khadaffi for the Lockerbie bombing. If the Eiffel Tower gets struck, hope they don't come crying to us.
