One of the news articles that I read today referred to the Serbian winners as "crypto lesbians." Who cares?

BBC Prime did not carry Eurovision on my cable last night, unlike all previous years, so I watched it on France 3. However, I did the complete tour of my cable channels and saw that I could have also watched it on the Spanish channel, one of the Portuguese channels, the Armenian channel, one of the Turkish channels and finally, the Polish channel.

>UK TV licence fee???
Yes, and my German licence fee too. The "good" thing is that the German song always qualifies for the final, no matter what :-)

Here in Spain we don't pay a licence..but Spanish TVE receives big money from the Government, to say, from our taxes (even now, that is only half what it used to be because they allow as much advertising as a private channel).
