We'll be in Munich during Oktoberfest and really want to see the Bayern Munich (football) match (26 Sept) but don't know if we should buy the tix now from an online broker (we would have to have the tickets delivered to the Munich hotel since our travels begin next week) or take a chance and buy them once in Munich on the 24th...any advice or experience doing either? Thanks in advance for your help!

away:

The broker will be your only option, as all championship games are sold out until November (be prepared to get fleeced).

If you check this site:

http://tickets.fcbayern.de/internetverkauf/IF02.aspx

you will notice the small grey square in most games' status column, indicating that the game is sold out.

There are, however, tickets available for the UEFA cup match vs. Belenenses of Portugal. You might see that game, if you are in Munick on that day.

Enjoy your trip

Phil.

No chance, it's not allowed, and the police has a look for.
Even during Oktoberfest the matches are sold are - and there are coming a lot of tourist to town, thinking to get a ticket at the same day.
The only chance would be to look at ebay. Will be about 30 - 40 Euro, depends on.
Take a look here (yes, long URl but it works):
