THey are going to places they haven't before is what Phil said in an interview in Entertainment weekley.

I know for sure they are hitting Moscow and Sicily.

It's 9pm on the West coast this week for the two-hour season premiere, then 10pm will be the regular time.

I can't wait! I've planned my evening so I'll be home and ready to watch.

For months, my husband and I watched the reruns on Game Show network, but when the time was changed from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m., we finally stopped watching (except occasionally).

I think this is the best show on TV.

I bought the DVD set of the first race and watched it a week ago. I hadn't started watching until about race 5.

Interesting seeing the changes. The biggest probably being the expansion of Phil's role (good change) and a reduction in the number of Fast Forwards.

And it shows why they are so careful to keep bunching the teams up. Would really kill the show if a team was a day or two ahead of all the rest for the last few episodes.

On GSN they're rerunning Season 2 (I think it's 2)--whichever season they had Oswald and Danny on. I just loved that team!

I love the Cha Chas too.

I wish they'd have more fast forwards. I much prefer that to the Yield which I don't really care for.

They end up this series in Milwaulkee. My sister and Brother-In-Law were there in Sept and saw the filming. They won't tell me anything though:(

BTW...they also met Mick Jagger that same day in the Art Museum there. Why don't I ever see anyone or anything exciting like that?????

I've been home sick from work today but vowed to myself to stay up long enough to see it. I even marked it on my calendar..how silly is that?

Jagger was in the Milwaukee Art Museum?!? They have an art museum there?!? Jagger spotting is WAY more exciting to me than the Amazing Race, and I ADORE the Amazing Race!

The first time I went to Red Rocks, I had just moved here from Seattle -- at sea level...and I remember taking a few steps up into the hills and having to pause for air.

Now that I've lived here for 5 years and go hiking at 10-12,000 feet on a fairly regular basis, I love watching outsiders "wheeze for air" in the altitude here.

LOL about Jagger in Milwaukee. But the Milwaukee Art Museum is now a destination because of it's unique building addition:

"May 4, 2001, marked the initial unveiling of the Milwaukee Art Museum's new expansion and renovation which combines art, dramatic architecture and landscape design. I like the attitudes of all the teams. Was predisposed not to care for a couple of the teams that seem full of themselves, but I don't dislike any of them so far.

My favorite teams at this time are the self proclaimed nerds (Dave & someone), Lake & Michele, and Joseph & Monica.

The last place team were clearly out of their element. The other weakest teams look like the sisters that finished just ahead of them, and the seniors. For an older team to really compete, they are going to have to play a lot smarter than they did in the first leg.

The hippies don't seem to be for real. They are more like a couple of radio DJs performing. But I still like them.

About ten minutes and counting here on the Left Coast. High winds blew out our cable service last night (first time ever), and I was antsy until it was repaired late this afternoon.

Oh My Gawwwwdddd Amazing Race is back. I can already tell this is going to be a good one. Favorites so far are hippie boys (even if they are faux I like their attitude) the mom and daughter, the nerdy couple and the older couple. Least favorites are team pink, the moms-they are going to grate fast and the super aggressive husband. Lots of fun in store....

Weren't the aerials of San Paulo terrific! I felt sorry for the poor picking of the ones who didn't get on the helicopters. Wow, those Brazilian cities are HUGE and congested- despite being so spred out for hundreds of square miles. Density was astounding and evident.

I just looked it up. 18 million and 5th largest metro population in the world and biggest in S.A.

Some of these teams will drop off easily as they don't have the burn. Lots of good personalities and expressive people, just what I wanted. But I do think they are, in majority, better looking people than average. Even the nerds are cute, just not stylish. I guess average looking people don't often get picked for most anything tv-wise.

There is not one team that I dislike and most are tending to operate on a cooperation/competition basis, instead of a manipulative/duplicity platform. What a concept! It works in business and politics too;I'll scratch your back and you'll scratch mine.

Absolutely love the playful and sweet relationship the nerds have. My favorite right now is the couple from Chicago, because I am partial and that's a good excuse. Bet they will tend to dominate some of the physical challenges.

I think the 1st place finishers will be hard to beat. Their mindset and lifestyle choices in the past have made them perfect Amazing Racers.

Great episode! I'm so glad it's back. The older sisters have already started to grate though, with the constant and unnecessary screaming. Thank goodness for the mute button!

My only disapointment in this episode was that I saw nothing in Brazil to make want to go there. And they will probably be out of the country in the next episode - they cover 60,000 miles in this race.

Wonder what the roadblock was? It didn't make it on air.

Did you notice Phil's reaction to the sisters' screaming? I got a kick out of them, however. The building the motorcycle challenge looked much harder than I would have expected.
