I loved that the hippies won and I think the anticipation of the non-eliminations adds to the show. I did feel a little sorry for the frat boys though. The last two seasons have been my favourites. It's a great show and I hope they don't change a thing!

Sunday Night football is on NBC. The Amazing Race is on CBS. So football won't affect the TAR schedule at all, though it may affect whether or not you watch!

Such snappy dressers they were when they received their checks!

Moldy, it's interesting that by the time they reached ABC for their Good Morning America appearance, a bit later than when they were at CBS, that royal robe had disappeared.

Not only was I happy that the Hippies won, but I was THRILLED that the Brat Boys (no, not a typo, I think they were Brats) lost! Their attitude about women was annoying and that they dared say that the hippies didn't play fair in Japan is so unbelievable since they are the ones who cancelled everybody's cab on a previously leg.

And though I liked Ray and Yolanda, they became so bad at the end that I didn't think they should win... people, learn to read a map...especially if you are picked to go on that show...get some maps and learn to read it before you go...I somehow don't think that they call you and you have to go right now...you've got to have a few days or at least a week or so before you have to leave.....oh, well....Love the show and can't wait for the next season.

Barbara, CBS has football games that end in the early evening (Eastern & Central time). They end at different times each week, so the CBS Sunday night programing starts at different times each week.

How dare those 20-something Frat Boys display an interest in girls! They should have been in love with each other like most previous same sex teams are on TAR. I actually found them to be a pretty class act. They didn't argue with each other and they didn't whine. Those two rejects from SF reminded me of bad street artists (buskers) you'd see around Ghirardelli Square. Couldn't stand them. Of course, it seemed like the whole race was set up to ensure their winning. No doubt they'll be back under some sort of pretense such as "All-Star Amazing Racers" or "Racing with the Stars".

Hope so.

I agree with lyb...the frat boys were ... let's just say over the top! Not only will no self respecting girl go out with them now ...but now their employers know exactly how they feel about their jobs! Looks good on them ...go Hippies go! Attitude is everything!

Barbara May 20th, 2006 05:33 PM

Keith, I see your point. That doesn't happen here on the West coast, of course!

I hate to disagree with some of you about this being the best race ever. TAR 2 with the Cha cha Chas was by far more entertaing. How about Tara/Wil, Tara had hysterics far worse than "Mo" could imagine. And how about TAR 3 with Flo/Zach. I think Flo was hysterical or maybe bi- polar.

This was a good race and I loved the hippies but I think other TARs had completely entertaining teams.

my $.25.

I agree with you about TAR 2 & 3. I loved the Chas, and a few other teams that season. Didn't we all love to hate Flo? Zach, the only person to win solo...with a lot of heavy baggage!
