why don't you just post it so everyone can read it!

SCOTT Mar 6th, 2000 04:36 PM

Too much typing.

Carolyn Mar 7th, 2000 02:40 AM

Why don't you copy and paste it?

I have sent my trip report out to many people now. Please respond back to this message board if it was a help. Thanks, Scott.

Jean Apr 2nd, 2000 07:11 AM

A friend sent it to me, what an ego trip you're on here. You'd think you were the only person who ever went to an island.

SCOTT Apr 3rd, 2000 05:56 PM

You know it's people like you that make messages boards not work. How is this at all an ego trip? I take the time to try and give people good information and the payoff for me is that I actually helped someone. You are a jerk for even writing back that way. If you don't like what I had to say don't take any of the advice.

Scott,

Indeed, you come home from a trip, unpack and try to get back into the groove PLUS take time to share your report? I think it is awfully nice to do that and I would love a copy. We'll be there one day only (cruise)in November and ask if you can highlight your favorite places/activites. Which do you think can be done in one day?
Thank you for sending your Antigua thoughts. I look foward to checking my e-mail to read it.

just returned from antigua. 1 note of caution: do not, under any circumstances, stay at the sunsail club colonna. it is a total dump, with lousy food and horrible service. the ironic thing is that most of the guests were british and they seemed quite content. sunsail is expensive and it it is the biggest ripoff i have ever encountered. STAY AWAY!!!

Hey Jean - are you always this gracious, or did we just catch you on a good day??? Scott - thanks for the report.

Gab Apr 10th, 2000 12:10 PM

Scott: Where did you stay?

SCOTT Apr 15th, 2000 03:39 AM

We stayed at the Tradewinds Hotel ( part of the Elegant chain). Very nice, townhouse style rooms. Price was very reasonable, about $100/night. Was not on the beach but you could walk or they had a shuttle that ran on the hour.

Lisa Apr 17th, 2000 04:08 PM

HAve you ever heard of the Inn at English Harbor and would you reccomend?

SCOTT May 14th, 2000 04:05 PM

Never stayed there but did hear good things about it.

Heather May 24th, 2000 09:38 AM

Dear Everybody: When we wre in Antigua we stayed at HAWKSBILL! Upscale, 3 beaches (included nude), beautiful grounds and a most enjoyable stay. However, not impressed with Antigua in general after we toured Island...
But, would definitely recommend HAWKSBILL!

Robyn May 25th, 2000 12:10 PM

Hi Bette:

Just curious: What didn't you like about Antigua in general? Was it the people? The landscape? The "feel"?
I would like to hear.
