O.k. let's see...
Let's set our sights on this pint-sized paradise. One of many Caribbean islands with a heritage of <i>"English colonial eccentricity",</i> an irresistible old town where even the policemen once got around using <i>golf carts </i>. The beaches are breathtaking and little <i>Janey</i> might want to bottle some of that sand as a souvenir to show her girlfriends back home. Once we make our landing we may spot a celebrity or two sipping a cool drink on a verandah or frolicking in the turquoise waters surrounding this fair isle. As we stroll through town, we realise that rumbling isn't traffic! It's our stomachs! Where oh where to eat? Wandering into one small restaurant, we see the Lady owner behind the bar. Her collection of hats and caps is quite impressive. As I scan the menu I'm tempted to try that <i>cheeseburger</i>...though I am vegetarian...hmmm...decisions, decisions... |
JAGIRL, I have no idea, and it feels like cheating to search online, but it sure sounds like a great place! From your description it makes me think of one of the Out Islands, though.

Okay, I'll play. I didn't look anything up, but I'm going to guess Harbour Island because I know you've been researching it for a trip in 2007. Maybe you've run across those interesting bits in your research.
