I agree, it's better to be home! Good going, Gpanda! Yay!!
(Thanks, Bob. We appreciate the updates.) BC |
Great news - no place like home! How nice to see you checking in GPanda, and thanks for the update, Bob.
|
Wow Andy, you really are invincible!!
|
Home sweet home!
No nurses to annoy though.... |
Andy, I didn't have a candle to light so I did the next best thing--I wrote a check to a lawyer.
|
Incredible that Panda is home so soon -- and his typing is much improved . . .

Good to be home. Recovery moving along. Ipad audio books invaluable. The support of the Asia forum is wonderful. My sister actually posted a few times.

Haven't been in Fodors for a long time. Just saw this thread, sorry to hear about the surgery but very pleased to hear the results.
Stay well All the best Pat PS..Hi Bob |
Wow... look what happens when I'm on a plane for nearly 24 hours and can't access fodors! Great news, Andy. And so nice to see your posts here already! Stay well...

Oh my goodness this is amazing and so positive. Such a wonderful set of posts to read. I couldn't ask for a better farewell as we board JAL to Narita and then Bangkok tomorrow morning. Great to know you are home, already posting Andy and that they kicked you out of the hospital. I always say "There's no place like home" Travel is great, but it's always a special thing to be home.
We will be away for 6 weeks (4 in Thailand and 2 in Hawaii) so much still to do and the taxi is arriving at 7:30am tomorrow. Must say though that this news of Andy's homecoming and being able to post - sense of humor intact is making me really smile. Hugs to Beth. Thanks too to Bob and Karen for keeping us all in the know. Sending wishes of good health and smoothing out the rocky parts ahead and, also keeping your surgeons in my prayers, that they will receive accolades for their expertise. Au Revoir Next post from BKK! Sue |
Andy, I'm delighted that you are home, as I know you are.
It was a pleasure to see your sister posting here. It is a wonderful reminder that we are all family. |
Glad to see you're back home Andy >:D<
|
Amazing news that you're out of hospital so soon - you must have been annoying the doctors as well as the nurses, lol. Am still sending white light from India for a speedy recovery.
|
best wishes for continued improvement and recovery!

May start thechemo on Jan 13. Have even been giving some thought to s business clss trip to Thailand after I get the March MRI. that will tell mystery.
I would love to write one last trip report. |
Excellent idea. (First class would be good, too.)
[If traveling in business, consider BA. Flat seats, excellent connection on their daytime flight from Boston -- lv Boston 9am, arrive BKK 3.40pm next day.] |
Hey, Andy, try for April in BKK (I know, I know... waaaay too hot)... Brad's big birthday bash at Tawandang is the 23rd.
I agree with Don. First class would be great! Carol |
