divediva Jun 23rd, 2006 09:16 PM

yes yes yes...i got the time off...
we will arrive on oahu on tuesday afternoon and i have to work at 8 am
back on maui...
we are not sure if we are staying with family or getting a hotel room..

i am looking forward to the gtg...what shall we bring from maui??

kuranosuke Jun 23rd, 2006 09:39 PM

kai, great news, is "we" coming to the gtg?

bring whatever you want, but be sure to bring your appetite.

if you are staying at a hotel, and if you are not picky, i think the pagoda is a good choice. you can walk to seoul garden, or we can pick you all up on the way. just let me know.

what should we bring besides an appetite??

MelissaHI Jun 26th, 2006 09:14 PM

divediva, you staying at the Pagoda? I live near there. We can walk over together or I can drive us.

divediva Jun 26th, 2006 09:47 PM

we arrive on wed 8 am and are playing tourists on oahu...
even doing an historic tour by segway...

is this walking distance from our hotel to dinner? i need to get a waikiki map

kuranosuke Jun 26th, 2006 10:24 PM

melissa and kai, since i am familiar with lower manoa, we can pick up melissa, and pick you and makamae up on lower kahala. lol.

if that is convenient to all, just let me know.

maybe we can start early for an attitude adjustment period at longhis and view the sun as it sets on the waianae coast.

MelissaHI Jun 27th, 2006 12:30 AM

Longhi's!!! kuranosuke's personal VIP lounge!!

;)

I can actually walk over but may need a ride back.

kuranosuke Jun 27th, 2006 01:43 PM

ok, great. we will see all you guys over there.

hawaiiantraveler Jun 27th, 2006 05:42 PM

I have been told that I've needed an attitude adjustment once or twice before so I guess I qualify.

Let me know when the festivities begin!

Aloha!

simpsonc510 Jun 27th, 2006 06:42 PM

So are most of you going for attitude adjustments before having dinner???
Carol

MelissaHI Jun 27th, 2006 06:48 PM

Before....during....after....
Well, maybe not "after." Since we are next to Femme Nu and those other famous Honolulu hangouts.

=-O

kuranosuke Jun 27th, 2006 08:26 PM

well, i think a good start time at longhis is at 5pm. now, you may think that wow! one whole hour before dinner, too much time to get into trouble, but this place will have other patrons there for happy hour, so it may be crowded. you might be lucky to get two drinks before having to leave for dinner at sg.

btw, melissa tends to exaggerate. i'm just an occasional visitor at longhis. in fact, the last time i was there is when i met kal and his lovely wife.

IsisMnroe Jun 27th, 2006 09:36 PM

Oh, Russ and I can't make the Longhi's Happy Hour.

Carol, are you planning to go to the Longhi's Happy Hour? Longhi's is at Ala Moana Shopping Center.

simpsonc510 Jun 28th, 2006 04:56 AM

I'll take the ride with you, Isis, rather than the attitude adjustment. Thanks! (my attitude is ALWAYS HAPPY)
Carol

MelissaHI Jun 28th, 2006 07:03 AM

hee hee. I think that means I need an attitude adjustment.

O:)

IsisMnroe Jun 28th, 2006 09:34 AM

Sounds good!

hawaiiantraveler Jun 28th, 2006 02:40 PM

kurano:

I'll see you at 5.....I'll try to leave the attitude at home
