I hope that turkey and pickles go well together. It does not sound especially appetizing, though.
don, maybe that would be a good sampling for your house before the friday nite dinner??
Excellent idea, Bob, thanks.
Snacks in Billerica? Baloney, cheez whiz and stale peanuts. I can sense a Hickory Farms order being placed.
when cantabridgians (that's cambridgeites) go upscale they move to billerica...
I just popped in to see what I may be missing, and now I get nauseated. Well, the upside is I'll be going down a dress size.
BC |
BC, is it true you are moving to billerica?
Untrue. The loss of a dress size comes from the fact that in 90+ days of thinking of turkey served with pickle, it'll induce adequate nausea to lose that much weight.
At this point in time, however, I'm thinking that if I moved to Billerica my chances of finding a job would be substantially higher than they would staying in Michigan. Unfortunately I don't think my bro could tolerate being uprooted and I'd rather not try to put the house on the market and either not have it sell or get a fraction of its worth, which, while not a fortune is still a bit of money. The eternal Michigan v. Billerica problem can never be solved. There are an infinte number of negatives on each side. Impossible to compute. It's a shame that it has to raise its ugly head on this thread.
Lots of reasons to live in Billerica. Need a new tattoo? 22 tattoo shops in the Big B. And if you get hungry for a Slim Jim while getting inked, 37 convenience stores grace our fair town, all with beer license (except for the 3 who lost theird this year for sales to minors). And for you culture hounds, the "Billerica Ballet" (a/k/a/ Mac's Lounge) offers exotic dancers (All College Girls!) 7 days a week 'til 1am.

what more could one ask for...
do the street walkers wear speedos? |
Don's description of B is entirely accurate. It's why Cambridge has no seedy side. The ones seeking these services can drive to Billerica,
now lets get serious and see who will be planning on joining us for the GTG
You lucky, lucky people!! I am pleased to announce I received a chunk of my inheritance, and I will be attending!!!
Thanks to each of you who offered alternatives/shared room suggestions. BC |
Bookchick is on board. She goes from idyllic Ann Arbor to the mean streets of Billerica. Who could pass that up?
btw, have you ever, mr gpanda, been to billerica? or spent any time there?
Excellent, excellent news, chickster. Glad to hear that one of your relatives moved on to the next life, or whatever.
You would feel right at home in Billerica, where most of the area's bookies reside (either in their own hovels or as guests of the Commonwealth). |
??? Guests of the Commonwealth??? Is this a jail or prison scenario in Billerica?? (Mental note to self: do not pack orange clothing, do not pack black and white striped clothing.) Yes, Rizzuto, I do expect to see the documentation you have to ascertain you were at the Summit Series in Montreal.
BC |
A good percentage of the residents of Billerica are not there voluntarily. There's a big correctional facility located there. What else would you do with the land?
The "Billerica Ballet"? That's hysterical. :D
Sounds like the Blue Moon (or some similar name) I used to drive by on 3A at the Hudson/Tyngsborough line on my way to work in the great city of Lowell. I always thought is was amazing that hidden inside that rundown wooden place one could find "exotic" dancers on weekend nights! Someone once told me they were graduates of the Revere Finishing School. |
