Well I intend to win the farthest commuter award, so count me IN!

See you in Pasadena first though, Bob!

rhkkmk Apr 19th, 2007 08:15 PM

looking forward to it--in both places!!

rhkkmk May 25th, 2007 06:13 PM

we had a fabulous time in pasadena so now the bar is very high for the boston GTG in october!!

kuranosuke May 25th, 2007 06:33 PM

how high can you jump bob?? lol.

rhkkmk May 25th, 2007 07:35 PM

about 2" below your jump.... and 3' below linda's....

Gpanda May 26th, 2007 01:23 AM

Don't worry, pandas are spring-loaded. They can soar. Plus, Boston has a long tradition of managing bars. We'll just put up a shamrock and close off the light.

rhkkmk Aug 5th, 2007 07:37 PM

plans are coming together for october 13...shortly i will send out a reservation announcement...

already we have one reservation from europe and promises from hawaii, ca, il, ct, ny and elsewhere....

DonTopaz Aug 6th, 2007 04:01 AM

You're letting people from NY attend again?

rhkkmk Aug 6th, 2007 06:48 AM

we do put a limit on ny'ers....laurie is in for sure but not quite sure how many more we can withstand....any ideas....also a limit on newtonites...

BillT Aug 6th, 2007 08:06 AM

We will not be able to attend- we will be with you in spirit!

Gpanda Aug 6th, 2007 09:57 AM

Hopefully, the Yankees will have been eliminated by then, so we can be generous to our Empire State Brethren and Sistern.

ggreen Aug 6th, 2007 12:06 PM

Hi Bob, I recently remembered about the October Boston GTG. I'd love to attend... but as a NYer, do I tip the scales too much? Does it count if (a) I'm Massachusetts born and raised, and (b) dislike the Mets because of '86 almost as much as the Yankees make my skin crawl? :D

Gpanda Aug 6th, 2007 12:44 PM

Forget Bob, you're in. Bob's sports knowledge ranks below his compassion level.

Craig Aug 6th, 2007 01:13 PM

New Yorkers that do not root for the Yankees or the Mets will be allowed, but reluctantly. Having been raised in a NJ suburb, I anticipate sneaking away from the evening activities to see how the Yanks are doing in the playoffs. As of this writing the Yanks are in a virtual tie for the wild card and as all Red Sox and Yankee fans know, a lot can happen before the season ends about 2 months from now.

Gpanda Aug 6th, 2007 01:22 PM

The past is no guide to future occurrences. We do not believe in inductive reasoning.

simpsonc510 Aug 6th, 2007 01:32 PM

Gosh, does that mean I'll miss the GTG because I'll be too busy watching my Chicago Cubs win their bid this year??
